- How does SmartEnergySaves make money?
- Our scans and reports are free for you. When you decide to move forward with a recommendation, we're compensated by the equipment vendors you ultimately purchase from — solar installers, heat pump contractors, battery providers, EV charger suppliers, and similar partners. Our compensation does not add to the price of the equipment: we simply take the sales commission that would normally go to the vendor's salesperson, since we brought the deal to them.
